I'm no stranger to Panasonic phones, they've great features and I actually love them, but the handbook for the KX-TG4132 is wrong about revealing calls with the base unit. You can't, at the least no longer with the rest I've tried. The guide states to screen a name you regulate the quantity by way of pressing the "up and down arrows" while the message is being left. That was the first sign of hassle. This telephone has "+ and -" so that informed me these instuctions the place copied from some other handbook because my older Panasonic telephones had up and down arrows. It just plain would not work. Pressing the + and - doesn't work in any respect to reveal calls. It works to modify the quantity of the bottom ringer and the sound throughout playback. You can screen calls during the handset, which I do not favor to do. Another factor I no longericed in the desciption of options on this website/page is that you can answer names with the bottom unit through pressing SP-PHONE on the base unit, there is no longer one and the handbook does not point out it. The cellphones are just right but the guides and some descriptions are off. One handbook for phone adaptation KX-TG4022 simplest gave instuctions to monitor calls with the handset and now nothing about the base unit. I assume the KX-TG4132 could also be like the KX-TG4022. This kind of discrepancy is no longer new to me.
