I had a 4-phone (2 base stations) V-Tech system, principally bought via Radio Shack. Poor battery performance; a customary cost lasted handiest about 6 hours in standby, and we received about 1.5 hours of speak time. Also, they didn't have virtually the claimed vary.
However, these Uniden telephones have excellent vary and battery existence. I can exit to the back yard and have at the least three bars. I left the telephone off th costr all evening, and the battery indicator stll says it can be full and that's after making three brief calls.

It has a rubber casing, making it somewhat more durable for the clumsy customers.. It seems just a little tall compared to other cordless phones and presumably a small bit heavier.So a long way, I've had no bothers from the phone.
Reviews for Uniden Waterproof/Rugged Accessory Handset DWX (Office Product) It's unquestionably waterproof, and make contact with high quality sounds great. Perfect for convenience, though my wife is getting tired of me the usage of the intercom to call her from the pool, and great for security.
Could had been easier to pair with cellphone base. Took 4 tries.
One draw back with this, and my other Uniden cordless cellphones, the wired phones ring twice before these do, making it difficult to grab the cordless earlier than it goes to voicemail.
Overall, happy with product.
