I had certain criteria that MUST be met:
- Base unit must be wall mountable, securely, on a typical phone wall plate
- Base unit will have to have its personal keypad and speaker and performance as a standalone telephone
- Memory retention via power screw ups (of at least a quantity of hours) without the necessity for batteries (why? If a telephone's reminiscence depends upon backup batteries and they are lifeless, you won't understand it until the ability fails, then it's too late).
- If the handset is in the charger or base, simply choosing it up solutions the call
- Talking nameer ID and answering computing device with affordable capacity
- Lastly, must no lengthyer be made by Motorola. Never again!!!

True to form, this Panasonic handset is very comfortable to hold for long durations of time. Setup is somewhat simple for somebody conversant in such merchandise. The first time I hyperlinked to my cellphone I was as quickly as pleasantly stunned how well it worked. It acquired incoming calls flawlessly, even ringing with my cellular cellphones ringtone. All used to be well for about every week unless someday I bought an incoming name and best my mobile cellphone rang. Somehow for no apparent purpose the bottom unit dropped the cell hyperlink. After fumbling around the various menus I decided to de-register my cell and begin from square one. I also eliminated batteries from handset, and pulled the plug on the bottom unit for just a few seconds. After re-installing batteries and plugging within the base I again went throughout the steps to re-activate the "link to cell" function. As prior to it worked flawlessly for a few days ahead of it came about once once more.

I went from facet to facet between this variation and the Vtech touch display version. In the end I chose the Panasonic as a consequence of it had more of the features I used to be on the lookout for. While the Vtech had a contact display and a graceful design, the Panasonic seemed to have more options. I have 2 cellular cellphones synced to it. 1 iphone threeGs and 1 Motorola flip cellphone (a freebie from AT&T) and both sync up automatically to the bottom unit without any problems. I LOVE that I can use the handsets to make and answer calls from my cell phone.
